New Build Garden Design
We recently completed a new build garden design from a very blank canvas- turf wasn’t even laid down.
What Symbol Gardens Did...
A couple had moved into a new build property with a very empty, uninspiring and muddy garden. The builders hadn’t done anything to the space except install a boundary fence to section off the garden to others.
Throughout the job, we worked closely with the couple and granted them flexibility as they selected their required plants and materials.
Our team manually dug deep down into the hard compacted clay grounds to form dedicated sections and areas within the garden.
We then built strong retaining walls and created huge planting pockets for pleached trees to create some privacy (that many new build properties don’t have).
To help section off the garden into designated seating/eating, play and relaxation areas, we installed 80m2 of honed Indian Sandstone.
To complete the new build garden design project we planted double eased cedar batten to create screening and sections of beautifully designed fencing to add detail and shape to the garden.
The work took around six weeks from start to finish.
