Our story

Founded in 2017, Symbol Gardens – garden designers for Bristol, Bath and Somerset have been growing (just like a garden). It started with our founder Adam and we’re now a strong team based on passion, experience and creativity.

No garden is too small, and no area is too big, our team can provide you with the flexibility needed to complete the job. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to help you create an outdoor space that stands the test of time.

From working on infinity edge swimming pools, retaining walls, hardwood screening and fencing down, to soil preparation, irrigation, planting and horticulture maintenance or landscape gardening and continuous grounds maintenance, our team can do it all.

As the company has grown, we have branched out into the grounds maintenance area looking after care-homes, industrial grounds and maintaining large estates.

We have a specialised grounds team that visits the same grounds on a regular basis getting to know clients and local residents and building relationships by understanding individual needs.

It takes a special type of person to enjoy working outdoors in the good old English weather, but our team of garden designers take pride in their work and truly enjoy creating and maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces that stand the test of time.

From selecting the very best materials that will best suit their surroundings, to working with our clients and their requirements, it’s our mission to help our clients create an outdoor area that brings a sense of relaxation and calmness.

We do this by simply listening to our clients and their needs and observing the space we’ll be working on.
